Welcome to Kindergarten

     This will be an exciting year for all of us. Academic and Social Development will be the center of our curriculum. We will work on Reading and Math Skills as well as getting along with others, working in groups, being responsible for one’s own behavior, and taking care of property.

     Our weekly schedule is very busy! Please check your child’s folder every day!! Our Special Classes (Spanish, Art, Music, P.E., Library, and Computer Lab) are from 10:25-11:00. Students must wear tennis shoes for P.E. Lunch is from 11:05-11:35. We will have Show and Tell on Fridays. Your child may bring something special from home to share with the class. Toys are not allowed on any other day. 

     Each month you will receive a Snack Calendar. On your child’s day, please send snack for the class- 19 students.   You don’t have to send drink. Each parent is responsible for sending money for a snack drink. Milk and juice are both cents. You may send a juice box for your child’s snack drink if you wish.
