Welcome to Kindergarten!
In the fall, we begin to learn lowercase letters, letter sounds, and how to write letters. We also count sets, identify numbers, and write numbers 0-10. We have fun with Fire Safety and Pumpkins!
In the winter, we bundle up for more learning. We finish learning lowercase letters and sounds. We increase our knowledge of number skills to 20. Excitement is always in the air when we learn about Christmas Around the World. We wait for OBX snow!
Spring brings new life to Kindergarten. We learn capital letters and use letter sounds to write our own stories! We use numbers to 30. We observe life cycles as caterpillars transform to butterflies before our eyes.
The end of the year brings bittersweet memories. We put all of our skills together in preparation for First Grade. A safe and restful summer is in order!
